About

Another co-founder bio…

Interesting stuff right? Not exactly.

That said, our team thought it would be a good idea to tell you a little bit about me.

My name is Darius Bell. I am 35 years old.

I’ve been married for 9 glorious years to my bride, Celia, and we have 4 children.

Yes that’s a lot for a millennial.

I got my formal start in marketing, working at an outdoor media company, Lamar Advertising.

From there I ventured into agency land and quickly garnered a rep around brand, strategy, and storytelling.

I like to think of myself as groomed for marketing by way of being raised by the tv.

So why Clearly Acquired?

It’s simple. Samson came to me one day and brought two things to me that hit me deep in the feels…

The loss of American values and generational legacy through entrepreneurship.

&

A fragmented process that was not helping in this issue.

That’s what I saw looking at the “silver Tsunami” that is the market and just how difficult it is to actually buy and sell in 2024.

So I joined forces with him, Jeremy, Sam, and Matt to play our part in creating a space like no other in the market for lower middle market acquisitions.

It’s that simple.

What else can I tell you? How about this…

I am of the opinion that any awards or accomplishments don’t matter if 6 things aren’t true about my life:

  1. My children yell “Papa!” when I arrive home.
  2. My wife is happy to see me and wants me around her.
  3. I am accountable to men, both younger and older, who believe what I believe and value what I value.
  4. My family is exposed to a greater spiritual community in like fashion. (see #3)
  5. Those in my care/presence feel cared for, protected, seen, and interested in.
  6. I am giving my all for the people I’ve committed to do so for.
