Winning in business is simple…
Be consistent for an unreasonable amount of time, so that in doing so, it would be unreasonable to NOT be successful.
The challenge… most don’t know what consistency actually looks like.
More specifically how long does one need to be “consistent”?
Consistent = “not having or showing any apparent conflict”
A week? A month? Or even a year is not long enough to call one’s self consistent.
We grossly over estimate what we can accomplish in a month or a year.
You CAN’T call yourself consistent until you have done something for at least 3 years.
Then, and only then, is it enough time to fail, fall down, get punched in the face and come back at it again.
You can only call your self consistent, when no matter the circumstance you are able to stay in the fight. When it would be unreasonable for you to quit.
Quitting before this time, is exactly what everyone would expect from an inconsistent individual.
